William Howard "B.J." Pollard Jr., 45, Walton, passed away Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018. He was born Nov. 8, 1972, in Kokomo, to William Howard Pollard Sr. and Esther L. (Abresch) Cleaver.
B.J. worked as a supervisor at Bridges Landscaping. He enjoyed woodworking and construction and was a fan of basketball, football and boxing. He was a member of the Kokomo YMCA.
Survivors include his children, Tat'yana Pollard, Israel Liggin, Dorian Ferguson and Alayah Pollard; his father and stepmother, William Howard (Peggy) Pollard Sr.; mother, Esther L. Abresch-Cleaver; brother, Cedric (Benita) Tyler; fianceé, Aja Mallory; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry J. and Jane Abresch and Bennie and Portra Pollard.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Road, with Pastor Jack Woodard officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. All are welcome; please come as you are.
