William H. Oberndorfer, 94, former Kokomo resident, died Sunday, March 4, 2018, in Largo, Florida.
Son of Carl and Maria, he is survived by wife, Delores, and children, Carl, Nancy, Mitzi. He has 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
He was a metallurgist and graduate of University of Detroit. He retired from Chrysler Die Cast and Wabash Alloys. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in WWII in the Pacific Theater. He was a Toastmaster, Scout leader, St. Joan of Arc CYO teacher, NADCA officer. He enjoyed traveling, swimming, camping and canoeing.
