On Jan. 15, 2018, Maxine passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was born in Boydsville, Arkansas to Everett and Hazel Morrow on May 9, 1928. She was the oldest of five kids.
Maxine enjoyed working and being with her family. She spent most of her life working at convenience stores. Her last place of employment, at the age of 80, was at Kokomo-Center Schools where she was "grandma" to many.
Survivors include two sons, Butch Lucy and Randy (Debbie) Dyer; two daughters, Kay (Terry) Worley and Robin (Richard) Hooker; nine grandchildren, Autumn Worley Davis, Jason (Janice) Dyer, Jamie Shepherd, Joey (Lyndsey) Dyer, Ashley Sams, Kyle Ungar, Sierra (Patric) Stout, Sabrina Hooker, and Lacey (Michael) Daggett; 16 great-grandchildren, Jackson, Jonathon, Donavan, Justin, Hayden, Kye, Deklin, Bryor, Preston, Delannie, Daley, Kymarra, Jace, Madilynn, Owen and Emma; sister, Pat Watson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill "Pacemaker" Morrow and Gene Morrow; and sister, Velma Jean Morrow.
You may visit the family this Thursday, Jan. 18 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Kokomo Church of the Brethren located at 311 W. Lincoln Rd. with services immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements were entrusted to Stout & Son Funeral Home, Russiaville.
