Vinyard R. Oneal, 89, Frankfort, passed away at 2:10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, at Northwoods Village Health Care in Kokomo. He was born March 18, 1928, in West Morland, Tennessee, the son of Clarence and Lillie (Stafford) Oneal. On Nov. 12, 1951, he married Reba M. Moore who preceded him in death on April 3, 1988.
Vinyard retired in 1981 from Continental Steel after 31 years of service. He enjoyed working on lawn mowers, collecting dye cast cars and trucks.
Vinyard is survived by his children, Pam Webster, Frankfort, Lonnie (Jodie) Oneal, Forest, Larry (Beanita) Oneal, Russiaville, and Sheila (Danny) Kirby, Sedilia, Indiana; grandchildren, DeAnna Jackson, Bethany Webster, Adam Oneal, Taylor Brown, Travis Miller, Trent Miller, Melanda Johnson, Melanie Brown, Heather Santos and Danielle Kirby, along with 32 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren
Vinyard was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters, four brothers and son-in-law, Wilmer Webster Jr.
Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Lehman Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Whiteman Cemetery.
