Theodore R. Eddington Jr., 65, passed away May 9, 2019.
A native of Kokomo he was born to Theodore and Rose (Meriwether) Eddington Sr. He received his received his formal education in the Kokomo Public School System graduating from Kokomo High School where he received the Athletic Award Certificate in baseball for the season 1969-1970. He was a member of Mount Pisgah M.B.C.
His employment included supervisor of Trinity Homes, finisher for Estridge Homes, Caravan Knights Janitorial Service and Chrysler Corp. He was a sport enthusiast, playing baseball, pool and fishing. He enjoyed watching all sports.
He leaves to cherish his memory his three sons, Andrecus M. (Jia), Montez L., of Indianapolis, and Theodore III Eddington; stepson, Derrick (Sarah) Rubush, of Knoxville, Tennessee; daughter, Brittany (Benji) Lehman; stepdaughter, Ashley Dunn; brothers, Thomas Lee Buckner and Antoine L. Eddington; sisters, Shirley A. (Steven) Clouser, of Ontario, Ohio, and Virginia L. Stitts; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; four nieces, two nephews, many cousins and friends; special friends, Arthur "Eddie" Blackmon and Michael "Mike" Dominique.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mount Pisgah M.B.C., with calling from 10 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery.
