Teresa M. Bray, 57, Kokomo, passed away at 10:09 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, in Indianapolis, at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1960, in Lexington, Kentucky, to Dave and Frances Adams.
Teresa enjoyed music, scary movies, festivals, arts and crafts, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially during the holidays. Most of all, her biggest hobby was loving her family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, John R. Bray. John and Teresa started dating April 19, 1977, and were married on Nov. 29, 1977, at Bible Covenant Church in Frankfort. Their marriage and love will forever live on in Heaven as it did on earth.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, John R. Bray Jr. and his wife Rachel, David Bray and his wife Katrina, and Melissa Bray; grandchildren, John and Rachel's children, Colten and Olivia Bray, David and Katrina's children, Kaleb, MaKayla, and Phenix Bray, and Melissa's children, Cacin, Arean, and Zaiden Bray.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Chuck Tatum; father-in-law, Walter Bray; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Bray; brother-in-law, Louis Bray; and nephew, Jerry Hill.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2018, at New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, 1900 S. Berkley Road, Kokomo, with Pastor Jeff Russell officiating. Burial will follow in South Union Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
