Scott R. Lowery, 54, passed away Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017, in his home. Scott was born Aug. 9, 1963, in Kokomo, the son of Robert C. Lowery and Ann Mari (Bougher) Lowery.
He was retired from Chrysler.
Scott was loved by many, and he loved to make people laugh. He never met a stranger, and every child who ever met him loved him immediately. Scott was known by many titles, Son, Brother, Dad, Uncle, but his favorite title was "Papaw" to Lennon James Robinette. Just the mention of his name would light up Scott's face.
Scott is survived by his daughters, Rachel (Anthony) Robinette, Scott Air Base, Illinois, and Isabella Lowery, Nashville, Tennessee; father, Robert Lowery; sisters, Lori Wisher, Marci (Greg) Davis and Staci (Burnell Pittman) Lowery; and brother-in-law, Brian Wisher, all of Kokomo; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; grandson, Lennon Robinette; and friend and mother of his children, Nita Cantu.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and mother, Ann Lowery.
Friends and family may call from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at Ellers Mortuary, Webster Street Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m.
