Sandra D. Liska, 68, Mesa, Arizona, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at Banner Baywood Medical Center. She was born in Longview, Texas, on Jan. 28, 1948, to John H. and Margie F. Williams (Vestal).
Sandra graduated from Kokomo High School in 1968 in Kokomo. She obtained CPA and worked for the Internal Revenue Service until suffering a disability. During her younger years, Sandra enjoyed singing and playing the piano and organ for the Church of God, where her father was a pastor. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and attending dance classes with her husband, Don Liska. After retirement she enjoyed providing tax services voluntarily for the AARP while training other volunteers to provide tax services. Sandra will be remembered for her infectious laugh, beautiful smile and kind, generous spirit.
Sandra was married to Don C. Williams, who survives.
She is survived by her mother, Margie Williams; daughters, Adina Zajac, Mebane, North Carolina, Amy Dotson and her husband, Pat, Kokomo, and Beth Liska, Denver, Colorado; her siblings, Judy Futch and her husband, Ray, Gladewater, Texas, John Michael Williams, Longview, Texas, Kathy Krewson, Tehlequah, Oklahoma, and Jimmy Williams and his wife, Debbie, Tyler, Texas; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Williams, and brother, David Williams.
To honor of Sandra's wishes no services will be held.
