Ruth Imogene Horn, 85, Kokomo, passed away at 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo. She was born July 27, 1932, in Kokomo, to Ola and Mazy (LaFollette) Miller.
Ruth graduated from Kokomo High School and worked as the secretary at Hunt's Salvage until 1993.
Survivors include her son, Donald P. (LeAnne) Horn, of Martinsville; daughter, Susan M. Galloway, of Kokomo; seven grandchildren, Erin (Jeremy) McQueary, Sonya (Mark) James, Leah Camp, Mallory (James) Calhoon, Morgan (Chad) Mitchell, Kara (fiancé Justin Hutchens) Galloway, and Adam Galloway; great-grandchildren, Jonah and Ethan McQueary, Connor, Kate and Mason James, Lydia Camp, Josiah Calhoon, Nora and Nolan Mitchell, and Brennan and Daxton Galloway; and sister, Delores Ortolf, of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Paul Horn; five brothers; and four sisters.
A private family graveside service will be held at later date in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to the Kokomo Humane Society.
