Aunt Rosie & Uncle Larry’s visit to Alabama was always the highlight of my year. It meant I had to give up my bed, at least 7-8 people would be sharing our only bathroom and we’d have much less TV time. And so much more, which was all perfectly fine with me. So many perfect and precious memories. Death can steal so many things from us. But those good times we had will remain fresh as long as we are faithful to keep her memories alive. Much love to you Aunt Rosie. Until we meet again.

My family in Alabama always loved when Aunt Rosie and Uncle Larry came down every summer. They would bring their 7 boys to join our family of 5 kids and we would all see what kind of trouble we could get into. Fortunately it mostly involved swimming in the lake and running around our neighborhood.
She loved hard and smiled often. She was loved in return by so many and will be missed.
I love you Aunt Rosie. Give Uncle Larry a hug from me and a stroke to his beautiful hair. Hug Micheal, the big meathead, and tell him that he, also is missed by many.

Rosie, I can hardly believe that you are gone.As I set here remembering over all our years,we had good and bad times but more good than bad.As young girls we argued more, and as young mothers we shared our children’s joys and sickness, our woes over how”mean” we thought our husbands were being at the time. All the trips you and Larry made to Alabama.Sometimes pulling a boat so we could go crappie fishing. You,I and Larry so loved to fish. All 7 of y’all’s boys, our 2 boys and 3 girls made a fun loving time we all enjoyed. We have grown old and white headed and lived far apart but we have loved no less. I will miss you more than I probably can’t even imagine at the moment. I love you so....Tell Larry i’ll try and catch some crappies for him this year and mine will be larger than any he ever caught. And I know he still thinks he’s the best looking brother-in-law l’ve ever had. I love you so so much.SandyRead more
