Robin 'Bob''s Story

Robin "Bob" Lee Wilder, 74, Kokomo, passed away at 6:46 a.m. Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at Aperion Care in Kokomo. He was born Oct. 29, 1943, in Tennessee, to Robert Lee and Isabelle (Melton) Wilder.
Bob served in the United States Army and earned the Vietnam Service Medal. He enjoyed a wide variety of outdoor activities, coin collecting, collecting arrowheads and studying Native American heritage.
Survivors include his son, Shannon Wilder Thomas and wife Kathryn, Denison, Texas; grandson, Elijah Shan Thomas, Denison, Texas; sister, Joyce Bolton, Kokomo; brother, Randy Wilder, Kokomo; nine nieces and nephews; and close friends, Donna Beyer and family, Kokomo, Kenny Lawrence, Cassville, and Carole Record, Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald W. Wilder.
In keeping with Bob's wishes, cremation will take place and an outdoor memorial service will be planned for later in the spring.
