Robert E. "Bob" Lee, age 65, of Windfall, Indiana, passed away on Feb. 21, 2018, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Bob was born on Aug. 1, 1952, in Danville, Illinois, to Robert and Valerie (Bernard) Lee. On Jan. 12, 1972, Bob married Joyce McKay in a ceremony held in Windfall. They shared 46 years of marriage together.
Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He graduated from Tri Central High School in 1972. Bob was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 685 and he retired from Chrysler in 2004 after 32 years with the company.
In his spare time Bob enjoyed visiting flea markets, watching NASCAR, and hanging at the casino. He loved sports, an avid supporter of I.U., the Cubs and the Bears.
Bob was survived by his wife Joyce Lee; his three daughters, Rhonda Lee, Mindy Lee and Peggy (Ed) Shannon; along with his grandchildren, Robert Blake (Lindsey), Shelby, Jordan, Cody, Jake (Trish), Bailee (Wes), Hailee, Tyler and Trevor. Also surviving are his great grandchildren, Brady, Karter, Arianna, Forrest, Braxton and Bella; along with his siblings, Vicki (Ron) Ritter, Jim (Jan) Lee, Cathy Blanchard, Mark Lee and Laurey Cone.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-father William Trosper, and a great-granddaughter Lillian.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home located at 726 East North. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. following the visitation. Interment will take place in Windfall's Brookside Cemetery.
