Richard L. Hamilton Richard L. "Hambone" Hamilton, 84, passed at North Woods Village on Jan. 10, 2019. Dick was born to Ernest and Helen Hamilton on Dec. 21, 1934, in Kokomo. He was a Kokomo High School graduate. Dick went on to retire from Delco after 40 years of service.
Dick was an avid golfer, and golfed all over the United States. He even played golf with Arnold Palmer. For the last 15 years, he resided in Florida.
Dick leaves behind his brother, Tom (Barbara) Hamilton and his sister, Becky (Tom) Beane; several nieces and nephews, loyal friends, Bill Grant Jr. and Rhett Vickers.
Dick is preceded in passing by his parents.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held at the American Legion Golf Course on a later date.

I met Hambone at Delco when I returned there from the Army. He was truly a one of a kind character and was not very good at keeping secrets, but he was one of Delco's finest workers. Over 50 plus years he was my unconventional friend, he will be missed.

I met hammy through another good friend Doug Hayes our friendship spanned over 40 years we had many memorable times lots of good times riding with him over the golf course many good times spent at Dougs and three trips to Jamaica with Doug, Sue (sites) Bentley and Jeff Kannelly. Hammy so enjoyed each for that day he truly was one of a kind I have so many charished memories God Bless him and his family.
