Patricia Ann Slagle, 73, Kokomo, passed away at 10:48 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at St. Vincent, Kokomo. Born May 17, 1944, in Rogersville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Heiskel Trent and Christine (Williams) Trent. On June 18, 1984, she married Arnold Slagle, and he survives.
She worked at Delco Electronics for over 30 years, retiring in 1995. She was a member of UAW Local #292, was an avid bowler, enjoyed QVC shopping and watching television.
She is survived by her husband of over 33 years; two daughters, Sherri (husband Terry "Sonny-boy") Thieke, Amboy, and Shelli (Paul) Byrd, Herbst; one sister, Betty I. Trent, Kokomo; one nephew, Andy Trent; grandchildren, Christopher Breed, Nicole Connolly, Heather (David) Hunt, Brandon Thieke, Brant (Kayla) Byrd, Paul Jr. (Krista) Byrd, Kylie (Ryan) Ferrell and Peyton Byrd; and great-grandchildren, Brayden Breed, Madisyn Connolly, Alisyn Tharp, Carter Connolly, Ariah Tharp, Elijah Breed, Payton Hunt, Logan Byrd, Cale Byrd, Makenna Byrd, Jake Seals, Jackson Byrd, Karsyn Byrd and Kourtney Volmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by one brother, Charles Allen Trent.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. Gary Hendricks will officiate. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
