The family and friends of Paige Mackenzie Barnes would like to share with you a bit of who this gorgeous girl was and what a blessing she was to all who knew her. Paige loved her family, friends, her two dogs, sports, country music and life. She had an infectious hearty laugh and a mega-watt smile. She lit up a room with her presence. If you were lucky enough to know her and be loved by her, you were blessed. When she loved you, she loved you completely and unconditionally. She chose to be a donor at age 16 and will now be a Christmas miracle for those who received her gifts and their families for years to come. It is our wish that those receiving will do so with a grateful heart and will one day know what a brave young lady she was and what a huge heart she had. We thank you for the kindness, compassion and caring during this process and pray that the recipients receive their gift without complications or rejection. "Fly High Christmas Angel"
She is survived by her parents, Greg and Michelle Barnes, Flora; brother, Josh Barnes, Flora; sister, Kinsey Barnes, Burlington; her boyfriend with whom she made her home, Logan Jackson, Flora; maternal grandparents, Jerry Barnes, Linda Brookshire and Stan and Jan Gilman, all of Burlington; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
