Nicole Diane's Story
Nicole Diane (Sheline) Bright, 45, Kokomo, passed away at 9:22 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, at her home. She was born July 25, 1972, in Kokomo, the daughter of David Sheline and Taunya (Swain) Andrews. On Feb. 14, 2001, she married Matt D. Bright, and he survives.
Nicole was a 1990 graduate of Kokomo High School. She then went on to receive a bachelor's degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Nicole served in the United States Army from 1992 to 1994. She had worked as a team leader for Chrysler Corp. Nicole was a member of Judson Road Christian Church and enjoyed reading, swimming, and going to Keith Urban concerts with her friends.
Nicole is survived by her husband, Matt Bright, Kokomo; children, Ciara N. Bright, Kokomo, and Noah D. Bright, Kokomo; her dogs, Maxwell and Murphy; mother and stepfather, Taunya and David Andrews, Kokomo; father, David Sheline, Kansas City, Kansas; sisters, Kimberly and Chris McClellan, Dixon, Tennessee, and Janelle (Jeff) Love, Liberty Center; grandmother, Javannah Swain, Burlington; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Nicole was preceded in death by her grandfather, Wayne Swain; and grandparents, Edith and Elsworth Sheline.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at Judson Road Christian Church, 2006 W. Judson Road, with Dan Butcher and Brandon Bench officiating. Burial will follow in Albright Cemetery, with military honors provided by the United States Army and the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
