Nancy C. Scott, 75, Kokomo, passed away at 5:35 a.m. Sunday, April 15, 2018, at Waterford Place in Kokomo. Nancy was born July 27, 1942, in Marion to Monelle C. (Bauer) and Edgar Earl Hollaway. She married Phil Scott, and he preceded her in death.
She loved her son and grandsons and great-grandsons very much and was very proud of them. She liked to spend time with her friends and loved going to the Senior Center and sharing stories and playing games.
She is survived by one son, Mike (Missy) Scott, of Russiaville, and one stepdaughter, Patty Thomas, of West Virginia; three grandsons, Corey (Alannah) Scott, of Russiaville, Tom (Erin) Scott, of Lafayette, Adam (fiancee Taylor Pemberton) Scott, of Speedway; two great-grandsons, Ajaxand and Boston; her sister, Sandy Woodring, of Marion; brother, David Hollaway, of Monticello; and several nieces and nephews; and her loyal four-legged friend and companion, "Baby."
In addition to her parents and her ex-husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Housler; her nephew, Thomas Davis; and her great-niece, Lynn Davis.
Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Steve Cole officiating. Burial will follow at New London Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
