Michael Troy Roe, 53, Avon, passed away at 10:38 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Ft. Wayne. He was born August 25, 1964, in Howard County, to Bobby Lynn and Rosalyn Kay Roe.
Michael graduated from Taylor High School in 1984 and attended Clark Art School. He owned and operated Awesome Entertainment and brought joy to children by working as a face painter. He loved his art and working with children.
Survivors include his mother, of Avon; brother-in-law, Tom Foss; niece, Torie Foss; step-mother, Carol Roe; stepbrother, Curt Grimes; stepsisters, Kim Dubuisson and Carol Ann Willis; uncles, Ken (Kay Marie) Roe, Jack Roe and John Henry (Janet) Quick; aunts, Brenda (Jim) Fishburn, Ann (Don) Burlingame, Sue Sanchez, Becky Jost, Ruth (Bob) Gowins, Char (Johnny) Abbot, Linda (Ken) Leathers, Sandy (Mike) Sever and Debbie (Fred) VanBryson; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Cherie Foss; and half-brother, Eddie Shoffner.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Andy Gowins officiating. Burial will take place in Albright Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
