Max Earl Hueston, 90, Kokomo, passed away at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at St. Vincent Kokomo. He was born Nov. 22, 1927, in Kokomo to the late William and Hazel Hueston.
He was a graduate of Jackson Township High School and a veteran of the United States Army, serving during World War II. On Nov. 7, 1948, in Kokomo, he married Beverly J. (Calveard). She preceded him on Aug. 25, 1995. He was employed with Delco Electronics, retiring after over 30 years of service. He had been a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a Boy Scout leader.
Survivors include two daughters, Cynthia J. Hueston, Florida, and Joyce M. Fipps, Kokomo, and two grandchildren, Zach Fipps and Adam (Andrea) Fipps, both of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St. Pastor David Osborne will officiate. Entombment with military rites by the U.S. Army and the Kokomo Military Rites Team will follow at Sunset Memory Garden. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
