Mary Ann (Sadler) Blakely, 63, Mount Juliet, Tennessee, formerly of Kokomo, passed away Monday, Dec. 25, at Alive Hospice, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Mary was born in Kokomo, Indiana, on Nov. 7, 1954, a daughter of Eva (York) Moore, of Lafayette, Tennessee, and the late Channie Sadler.
She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, William "Bill" Moore.
Mary was retired from American Express, where she worked as a reservation agent. She was a 1973 graduate of Gamaliel High School.
On April 2, 1982, she married Michael "Mickey" Blakely, Madison, Tennessee.
Other than her husband, Mickey, and mother, Eva, Mary is survived by a daughter, Sara Cobb, and husband, Matthew, Murfreesboro, Tennessee; a son, Michael Blakely and wife Randi, Nolensville, Tennessee; two grandchildren, William Cameron Blakely and Isabell Ann Cobb.
Mary is also survived by a sister, Paulette Name, Windfall, Indiana; four brothers, Billy Sadler, Kokomo, Cliff Sadler, Lafayette, Tennessee, Stan Sadler, Kokomo, Greg Sadler, Lafayette, Tennessee.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bond Memorial Chapel, Mount Juliet, Tennesse, with a service to follow at 7 p.m. Visitation is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Gamaliel Methodist Church, with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Gamaliel Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Yokley Trible Funeral Home.
