Mary Lou Gish

Mary Lou Gish, 63, of Lincoln, passed into the arms of Jesus at 9:28 a.m. from her home. She was born Sept. 28, 1955, in Kokomo to Clyde Weitzel and Marilyn (Wyant) Trinoskey.
She married Eddie Gish Aug. 28, 1977, in Lincoln, and he survives.
Mary Lou was a domestic engineer, as she would say with a smile. She enjoyed working in her flowers, crocheting, growing tomatoes, spoiling her grandkids and taking vacations.
Surviving family include her husband, Eddie Gish, of Lincoln; her children, Joshua (April) Gish, Carmel, Indiana, Amanda (Adam) Kirkpatrick, Walton, Indiana; and stepson, Charles Robert Gish. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Elijah Kirkpatrick, Breanna Gish, Alexander McQuistion, Olivia Gish, Norah Gish, Emmerson McQuistion, Georgia Gish and August McQuistion; brother, Rick Weitzel, Bringhurst; and sister, Theresa Weitzel, Bringhurst, Indiana. Also surviving are a very special niece, Mary Beth (Austin) McQuistion, whom she raised in Lincoln; and nephews, Eugene, Jeremy, Chris and Matthew Weitzel; and all of her extended family of Lincoln, Indiana.
A celebration of Mary Lou's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 31, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston, with a special friend Stella Darland sharing for the services. Burial will follow at Musselman Cemetery in Camden, Indiana. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, at Murray Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent Cancer Center in Mary Lou's honor. Mary Lou requested that everyone come dressed in casual attire.
