Mary Jo Glenn
Mary Jo graduated from high school in Edan, New York, and later relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she worked for 35 years as a title escrow officer. She moved to Kokomo after retiring to be with her Indiana family.
Mary Jo was very skilled in crafts and spent a lot of time crocheting, sewing, and making teddy bears. She also spent many hours on her computer and keeping up with her grandchildren's activities through Facebook. More than anything, Mary Jo loved her family and devoted her time to being a big part of their life.
Mary Jo is survived by her sons, William Walgate and Donald (Marianne) Walgate; daughters, Patti (Tracy) Parkins, and Penni (Phil) Jestic; brother, Edward Landahl; sister, Gloria Landahl; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary Jo was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Bergstrom.
There will be a public visitation for Mary Jo at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home on Friday, April 19, from noon to 1:30 p.m., followed immediately by a funeral service. Mary Jo will then be laid to rest at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Mary Jo's name may be made to The Kokomo Rescue Mission.
