Martha Lou Ann LaBrun, 62, Mountain Home, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017. She was born in Springfield, Illinois, July 10, 1955, to Gordon and Martha Jewell. She married the love of her life, Mark LaBrun, on Aug. 20, 1982.
She was a faithful member of Hope Center Church in Mountain Home, where she attended for many years. She loved to go on trips visiting family and friends. She enjoyed camping and boating at the lake. She was a generous and kind-hearted woman, always giving gifts to friends. Lou Ann never forgot a birthday or special occasion for all the people that she loved.
Lou Ann is survived by her husband, Mark LaBrun, Mountain Home; Roberta "Mom" Nipp, Menominee, Wisconsin; her sons, Timothy (Rebecca) LaBrun, Mountain Home, Arkansas, James (Candace) LaBrun, Yukon, Oklahoma, David LaBrun, Mountain Home, Arkansas; her daughters, Amanda (Derrick) Dyke, Lakeview, Arkansas, and Mary LaBrun, Fayetteville, Arkansas; her brothers, Mike (Rhonda) Jewell, Springfield, Missouri, David (Megan) Nipp, Green Bay, Wisconsin, Ron Jewell, Mountain Home, Arkansas, Mark (Cathy) Lee, Florida , Eddie Black, Illinois; her sisters, Cathy (Greg) Hummel, Menominee, Michigan, Linda (Terry) Zayjack, Marinette, Wisconsin, Jackie (Steve) Bennett, Spring City, Tennessee, Tammie Rice, St. Louis, Missouri; and all her grandkids.
Lou Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Martha Jewell, and brother, Timothy Jewell.
Visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, with the funeral following at 3 p.m. at the Hope Center Church of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Pastor Morgan will be presiding the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the church to offset the funeral cost.
