Marjorie Baugher Pierson, 76, who grew up in Kokomo, died unexpectedly Tuesday at her home near Nashville.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Bond Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville. Friends may call between noon and 2 p.m.
She was graduated from Kokomo High School in 1959 and then from Butler University in 1963, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Her professional career was spent as an elementary teacher in Indianapolis and Zionsville. Upon retirement, she and her husband, Dr. Charles Pierson, moved to Brown County. He preceded her in death March 31, 2008.
Her parents, Roi and Princess Baugher, and her brother, Rick, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are three stepsons, David, Perry and Terry Pierson.
