Lynda K. Dudley, 72, Sharpsville, passed away Monday, July 31, 2017, at her residence. She was born May 30, 1945, in Bruceville, to Hubert A. and Beulah M. (Messer) Boyles. She married Donald E. Dudley in Arkansas, and he preceded her in death March 17, 2000.
Lynda was a graduate of Eastern High School in Greentown. She was a member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary in Kokomo and also the Kokomo Moose. She enjoyed playing bingo and playing slot machines.
Surviving family include her children, Kim (Donnie) Remington, Summitville, Shayne (Jennifer) Dudley, Hartford City, and Jeremy S. (Elesha) Dudley, Williford, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Mary Clark, Loogootee, Thelma (Don) Bryant, Jerome, and Elsie Bales, Sharpsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; brother, Reese Boyles; and sister, Elizabeth Farrior.
A celebration of Lynda's life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8 at Heartland Ministries, 3611 Indiana 19, Sharpsville, with Pastor Bill Salsbery officiating. Burial will follow in Marion National Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. at the church.
