Larry Lee Logan, 72, Kokomo, passed away at 5:43 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at St. Vincent Kokomo. Born March 14, 1945, in Marion, Indiana, he was the son of the late Ellis Logan and Myrle (Brown) Logan.
He was a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps. On Oct. 22, 2005, he married Darlene Ollivette (Dunn), and she survives. He was employed with the Dana Corp. for 16 years, then with the Marion VA Hospital for 28 years, before retiring. He was a member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, the American Legion, and loved NASCAR.
Survivors include his wife, Darlene Ollivette Logan; one son, Jason Paul (Brianna) Logan, Marion; two stepsons, Jeremy James Stevens and companion Christy Cruea, Kokomo, and Matthew Stevens, Kokomo; and one brother, Don (Frances) Logan, Marion. There are also eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Henry Logan, James Logan and Glenn Logan; also his first wife, Sharon (Helms) Logan.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel, 3400 S. Webster St., Kokomo. Pastor Jeff Russell will officiate. Burial will follow with military rites by the United States Marine Corps and the Kokomo Military Rites Team at Albright Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the mortuary.
