Joe "Jerry" Russell Eden, 69, Kokomo, passed away Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at Community Howard Regional Health. He was born July 17, 1948, in Tennessee to Lucille Carter (Caruthers) and William "Bill" Bandy. On Feb. 15, 1969, he married Betty Lou Neff.
Joe was a member of the Eagles and Chapel Hill Church. He worked at Delco for 33 years. He enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels, watching his grandsons participate in sports, riding his motorcycle and loved caring for his family and grandsons. Joe had a wealth of knowledge and could fix anything. He set the example on how to build your life, stay humble, strove each day to be righteous in the Lord Jesus Christ, and walked in the spirit of peace, love, and patience.
He is survived by his two daughters, Regina and husband Russ Padgett, Kathy Eden and life partner Frank Karakostas; four grandchildren, Charles and Jerry Padgett, Brandon and Angel Ade; and four great-grandchildren, Brayden, Jaxson, Savannah, and Henry; his brother, Anthony "Corky" Carter; a sister, Brenda Cline; and his uncle, Jerial "Buck" Caruthers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a son, three brothers and a granddaughter.
