Janice Louise McKinzie, 73, Lebanon, formerly of Frankfort, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, at Signature Health Care at Parkwood in Lebanon. She was born June 16, 1944, in Frankfort, the daughter of Lloyd Pinkney and Ruth Louise (Young) Withrow. On April 5, 1980, she married Jerry Lee McKinzie, who preceded her in death Jan. 22, 2016.
Janice was a 1962 graduate of Clinton Central High School. She retired from the Clinton County Auditor's Office as a deputy. She also retired from CVS as a pharmacy technician. Janice was a member of Michigantown Christian Church and Moose Lodge No. 7.
Janice is survived by her twin sister, Janet (Bob) McCoy; three nieces, whom she thought of as her daughters, Pam (Steve) McKinney, Lisa McCoy (companion Richie Allen), and Rita (Matt) Mennen; five great-nieces and nephews (her "grandkids"), Michael Cline, Kaitlyn Cline (companion Rhett Miller), Colten Mennen, Kylie Mennen, and Koda Allen; three stepsons, Jay, Jeff and Keith McKinzie; one stepdaughter, Jeanette Wolfe; 13 stepgrandchildren; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and an infant brother, Charles Allen Withrow.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with Mary Ellen Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Friends are invited to visit with the family 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
