Harold George Krippenstapel Jr., 65, Kokomo, passed peacefully on Dec. 21, 2017, at Wellbrooke of Kokomo.
Harold was born on Aug. 9, 1952, in Kokomo, to his parents Harold George Krippenstapel Sr. and Barbara Wagner.
He married Patty Christopher on Feb. 21, 2003, in Kokomo.
Harold is survived by his wife Patty; children Eric H. (Cindy) Krippenstapel and Rose Krippenstapel; step-daughter Rhiannon Hart; brothers Lee (Julie) Wagner and John (Mary) Adams; and sisters Jan (Ron) Warner and Karen Dean. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren Kaiden, Pepper, Eros, Ryne, Angelika, Braeden and Jaeley; and many nieces and nephews.
Harold was a graduated of Kokomo High School and then enlisted in the United States Army, serving our country proudly during the Vietnam War. After returning from the war, he began his career with Chrysler and retired after 30 years of faithful service. Harold enjoyed going to the shooting range, attending gun shows, and riding his horse Willy. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and most of all his parrot of 27 years, Felipe.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kristeen Martins.

Services will be Thursday, Dec. 28, at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior and Wednesday, Dec. 27 from 3 to 7 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Chapman officiating at Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel. Interment will follow at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery.
