Emma Patterson, 92, Kokomo, passed away at 3:59 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, 2018.
Mrs. Patterson retired from GM (Delco Electronics) with 27 years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local 292. She was a dedicated member of Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Patterson was an avid bowler and loved youth baseball.
She was born in Mount Rose, Mississippi, and preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James W. Patterson; and daughter, Betty S. McKelvin.
Her family left to cherish her memory includes her sons, DeWayne (Shirley) McCullum, James (Janeen) Patterson, Danny Patterson (Valencia) Patterson, and Ricky Patterson; daughter, Regina Ellis; brothers, John McCullum and Gerald (Lee) McCullum; and sister, Eloise Richmond. She was also blessed to have 11 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be noon Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, with calling from 10 a.m. to the noon service time. Final resting place is at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Bluitt and Son Funeral Home, www.bluittandson.com.
