Deloris Jean Fry, 68, Miami, passed away at 11:43 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born May 18, 1949, in Lafayette, to Donald L. and Ruth B. (Robbins) Kelly. On May 25, 1969, she married Glen Thomas Fry, at Cutler Presbyterian Church, and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2014.
Deloris graduated from Carroll High School in 1968 and worked for Delco Electronics for 15 years before retiring and becoming a full-time homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God, in Peru. She had been active in the Junior Bible Quiz and Missionettes. She and her husband were active in RV MAPS (Mission America Placement Service) and helped build churches.
She is survived by her sons, Mark (Rhonda) Fry, Springfield, Missouri, and Matt (Sara) Fry, Farmington, Minnesota; grandchildren, Callie Fry, Camille Fry, Kaelynn Fry, Levi Fry, Owen Fry and David Tolbert; mother, Ruth Kelly; step-grandchildren, Caleb Black and McKenna Black; brothers, Donnie Kelly, David (Teri) Kelly, Joe Kelly and Charlie Kelly; sister, Pat (John) Turner; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services for Deloris will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018, at Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 W. Lincoln Rd., Kokomo, with Pastor Kevin Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Ball Hill Cemetery in Cutler. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
