Deborah Lynn Lamoureux, 55, Kokomo, passed away at 7:37 p.m., Sunday Sept. 17, 2017, at her home. She was born Dec. 17, 1961, in Alameda, California, the daughter of Bruce Ralph Lamoureux and Beverly (Brendel) Setsodi.
Deborah was employed with the Howard County Public Library. She had worked for TJ Maxx, American Stationary and Con-Agra Foods in Peru. She loved to bowl, put together puzzles, read books, quilt and was a book and DVD collector. Deborah was a member of St. Andrew Episcopal Church. When her children were younger, she was a stay at home mom where she homeschooled them. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Deborah is survived by her mother, Beverly Setsodi; husband, Robert, Kokomo; father, Bruce and wife, Monica Lamoureux, Florida; children, Christopher and wife, Melanie Doty, Georgia, Elizabeth and husband, David Shultz, Peru, and Allison Doty, Peru; grandchildren, Samantha Doty, Emma Doty and Micah Gadsden; sisters, Michelle Cipriano, Denise Roberts and Susan Morrison; brothers, Darin Lamoureux and Brian Setsodi; along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Deborah was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at St. Andrew Episcopal Church, 602 W. Superior St., Kokomo, with Fr. Ted Neidlinger officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the church. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
