David Leroy Marshall, 53, Kokomo, passed away at 8:18 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, at his home. He was born June 28, 1964, in Centralia, Illinois, the son of Gale "Leroy" Marshall and Etta Mae (Campbell) Grummons.
David was a 1982 graduate of Logansport High School. He had been a mechanic most of his life, spending a lot of years as an electrician, and in heating and Air, H-Vac, basically a "Jack of all trades." In the past, David worked for Burns Auto Repair.
David had attended First Assembly of God Church, and enjoyed fishing. Most of all he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
David is survived by his father, Leroy (Mary) Marshall, Centralia; children, Drew Marshall, Kokomo, Brooklyn Marshall, Kokomo, Rocky Fletcher, Wheaton; step-son, Justin Cottingham, Kokomo; grandchildren, Missy (Joe) Faulkner, Carrollton, Georgia, Brian (Jacquie) Marshall, Milton, Florida, Chasity Marshall, Collinsville, Illinois, Latisha (Roberto) Romero, Centralia, Robert (Rosamaria) Marshall, Centralia, and Charles (Alisha) Marshall, Centralia.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Etta Mae Grummons, daughter, Isabella Marshall, and brothers, Chuck Marshall and Jon Marshall.
