Danny K. Robbins


Danny K. Robbins, 66, of Kokomo, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019. He was born to the late Hattie Robbins in Kokomo on Sept. 9, 1952.
Danny graduated from Haworth High School and worked at Howard Community Regional Hospital for 27 years. He retired in September of 2017. He was an extremely talented musician and was a drummer for the Mike Milligan and the Steam Shovels Band, Blind Boy and the CNI Dawgs.
Surviving him are his daughter, Danielle Morrow-Robbins; grandsons, Elijah Daniel Miles, Noah Michael Morrow; great-grandchild, Lucas Andrew Miles, and expecting a great-grandson In January; and many close friends.
Funeral services for Danny will take place at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel, with his close friend, Ray Collins, officiating. Friends may gather from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Sharpsville Cemetery for close friends and family only.

Prayers for Danny, s family. We grew up with him and his family .They lived next door. Really nice neighbors.Him and my brother were good friends. They done alot of music together .

Sorry for your loss. I worked with Danny at the Kokomo Tribune in the 70s and always enjoyed his music with Blind Boy. I have many great memories of being with Danny. Sincerely " Big Don"
