Danny J. Kimbrough, 79, Windfall, died Oct. 25, 2017, at his residence. He was born May 6, 1938, in White Pine, Tennessee, to Daniel W. and Oral N. (Morie) Kimbrough. Danny was a 1957 graduate of Windfall High School, and was self-employed as a farmer. He married Ramona J. Cox on April 15, 1960, and was a member of Windfall Christian Church. He enjoyed time with his family, friends, "coffee club" buddies and country music shows. He and Ramona traveled to Hawaii for their 50th anniversary and toured Hawaiian farms. Danny was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
Danny's family includes his wife, Ramona Kimbrough, Windfall; son, Scott E. (Rhonda) Kimbrough, Windfall; daughter, Lisa R. (Jovon) Rayl, Sharpsville; sister, Mattie (Allen) Cain, Tipton; 10 grandchildren, Danielle (Brandon) Sexton, Kaitlyn, Libby, Jared, Noland, Zachari, and Cayleigh Kimbrough, Nathan, Logan and Holden Rayl; great-granddaughter, Addison Sexton; daughter-in-law, Connie Kimbrough (companion Donnie Treadway); and nieces and nephews.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents; son, Danny "Mike" Kimbrough; and sister, Rusha (and husband Al) Gilbert.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 30, 2017, at Copher-Fesler-May Funeral Home in Elwood with Rev. Carl Roudebush and Rev. Dave Stout officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery in Windfall. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, 2017, at the funeral home.
