Daletta S. Rehwinkel, 65, Lafayette, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Franciscan Health Lafayette East. She was born Aug. 23, 1952, in Logansport to the late Daley and Virginia Draper West.
Daletta graduated from Northwestern High School in Kokomo and Ivy Tech College with a degree in accounting. On June 17, 1978, she married James Rehwinkel in Young America, and he survives.
Daletta worked at Warren Industries for 15 years. She had also worked at Essex Wire and the Indiana Veterans Home. Daletta enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking and gardening.
Surviving along with her husband are her children, Kimberly A. Stine, Lafayette, James W. (Laurie Fleenor) Rehwinkel, West Lafayette, Justin D. (Kelli) Rehwinkel, Lafayette, Christopher L. (Ashley Farrell) Rehwinkel, Lafayette; grandchildren, Cassie, Jessica, Anthony, Brittney, Colton, Kearston, Cade, Courtney, Cameren, Tatum, Lilah, Lincoln; and a great-grandchildren, Marcus, Ares and Emily. Also surviving are her siblings, Marcia Davenport, Walton, Thomas (Paige) West, Cameron Park, California, Hubert (Pam) West, Bunker Hill, and Jill (Jerry) Brankle, Walton.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel. Entombment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Daletta's memory.
