Cleon M. Silence, 74, Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away peacefully with family and friends on Friday, June 2, 2017. He was born to Hollis and Margie Silence on Aug. 16, 1942, in Tipton County, Indiana.
Cleon was a graduate of Prairie High School. He then worked at Haynes International for 38 years. He was a member of the Austin Lodge for 50 years. Cleon loved antiques and horse racing.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Hollis and Margie Silence; sister, Linda Whelchel; and brothers, Freddie and Bill Silence.
Surviving him are wife of 38 years, Dianna Silence; daughters, Debbie Small (Gino), Mindy Newton (Charlie), Shelia Millican (Ron), Shan Morgan (Steve); son, Clay Norred (Summer); 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; beloved Teddy; and brothers, Allen, Bob, and Leon (twin).
A private memorial service will be held.
