Billy W. Roberts, 62, Kokomo, went to be with the Lord at 1:03 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017, in Aperion Care-Kokomo. He was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, on Oct. 18, 1955, son of Larry and Lorine (Keith) Marner.
He attended Northwestern High School. He was self-employed, mostly detailing cars. He attended Landmark Baptist Church in Kokomo. He enjoyed collecting model cars and he enjoyed joking around, also spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Lorine Marner, Kokomo; daughter, Elaine (Dean) Harrington, Sharpsville; son, Anthony (Holly) Roberts, Kokomo; sisters, Carolyn (Carl) Simpson and Linda (Thomas) Haynes; brother, Don (Carol) Roberts, all of Kokomo; three grandchildren, Derek (Rachel) Harrington, Haeleigh Harrington and Jakob Harrington, all of Sharpsville; and one great-grandchild, Hayden Harrington. Billy was loved by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Larry Marner; daughter, Heather Coffman; and many uncles.
Visitation for family and friends will be 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at Hasler & Stout Funeral Home, 112 E. Main St., Greentown. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Bob Morphew officiating. Burial will be in Mast-Hensler Cemetery following the service.
The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Hasler & Stout Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
