Beth Ann Robbins, 55, Greentown, passed away at 7:50 a.m. Tuesday May 16, 2017, at her home. She was born Aug. 11, 1961, in Kokomo, Indiana, to Richard A. and Doris J. (Hershberger) Robbins.
Beth worked as a nurse at I.U. Health Arnett in Lafayette. She had previously worked at Riley Hospital for Children for 20 years in the pediatric unit and Howard Community Hospital in Kokomo. She also taught at Indiana University Kokomo School of Nursing as an adjunct professor.
She graduated from Eastern High School in 1979. She then went on to attend the Parkview School of Nursing, graduating in 1982. She completed her master's degree in nursing from the Indiana University School of Nursing in 2015.
She was a member of the Christian Life Fellowship. She loved the beaches of Michigan and long drives and she was an excellent cook. She was incomparable pediatric nurse.
Survivors include her mother, Doris Robbins, Greentown. She became a mother Aug. 16, 1997, to son, Daniel Noah Robbins, Greentown. Brothers are Jeff L. Robbins, Greentown, Timothy A. Robbins, Greentown, Rick L Robbins, Greentown and Jeremy D. (Loretta) Robbins, Corbin, Kentucky. Nephews are Brandon (Natalie) Robbins and Paul Gentry. Nieces are Autumn Robbins, Mariah Robbins, Hannah Robbins, Emily Robbins, Alisha Robbins, Chelsea Stone, Ashton Stone and Brittany Stone. Aunt is Bonnie Robbins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Robbins.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Christian Life Fellowship, 1009 Holiday Drive, Greentown, with Pastor Gary Hoover officiating. Burial will be in Mast-Hensler Cemetery, Greentown, following the service. Visitation for family and friends will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Christian Life Fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Riley Hospital for Children's Pediatric Unit. Arrangements are being handled by Hasler - Stout Funeral Home, Greentown. Online condolences may be made at www.hasler-stout.com.
