Arlene M. Turner, 88, Kokomo, passed away at 5:05 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at North Woods Village in Kokomo. She was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Kokomo, to Gurnie S. and Elsie (Tilley) Reed. On Aug. 19, 1950, she married Eugene M. Turner, at the First Baptist Church in Kokomo, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 2016.
Arlene graduated from Kokomo High School in 1946. She enjoyed tending her flowers, gardening, snow skiing in her younger years, fishing and spending summers with her husband and family at their cabin in Minnesota, and she cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Mark (Debra) Turner and Kevin Turner; "adopted daughter", Judy Turner; grandchildren, Reed Turner and Chelsea (Cliff) Fuller; great-grandchildren, Jansen Fuller, Emma Fuller and Easton Turner; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Private family services will be planned for a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, Kokomo, or Crane Lake Chapel, Minnesota.
