Anthony "Tony" Joseph Earl, 37, Kokomo, passed away peacefully at 5:25 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017, at his home following a courageous battle against cancer. He was born Jan. 16, 1980, in Kokomo, the son of Michael and Phyllis (Jessup) Earl. On June 29, 2002, at Heartland Ministries Church, he married Kimberly Wallace, and she survives.
Tony was a 1998 graduate of Kokomo High School. He received his bachelor's degree from Purdue University in computer integrated manufacturing technology and then received his master's degree from Indiana University in business. He served as a business unit leader for Clarke Solutions in Fishers, and also owned and operated Everlasting Security, which he began in 2011.
Tony was an active member of Heartland Church. He was an avid bowler and was on the Purdue University Bowling Team during his years as an undergraduate. He was an active volunteer and member of the board at Acacia Academy, where his children attend school. In addition, he was very involved as a volunteer for the Professional Karate Commission of which his son is a member. Most of all he was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Along with his wife, Kimberly, Tony is survived by his children, Whitney Grace Earl (13), and Collin Tyler Earl (10); brother, Andrew (Brandi) Earl, Galveston; mother and father-in-law, Ken and Ann Wallace; sister-in-law, Lori Wallace; niece, Kiara Wallace; and nephews, Carter Earl, and Kamden Earl.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Phyllis Earl.
A public celebration of life service will be in Tony's honor at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, 2017, at Heartland Ministries Church, 3611 Indiana 19, Sharpsville, with Dr. William Salsbery officiating. A private family burial will be in Nevada Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church.
