Amparo Ramos, 88, Kokomo, passed away at 10:52 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at Community Howard Regional Health. She was born Nov. 7, 1929, in Havana, Cuba, to Eusebio and Delores (Cruz) Malagon. In 1961, she married Jose Ignacio Ramos, and he preceded her in death May 12, 2015.
Amparo worked at General Motors. She was also a loving homemaker, devoted to her husband and children, and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Julieta Ramos; son, David Ramos; grandchildren, Elise Nichole Dieter, Adam William Dieter and Emma Ramos; and sister, Hortencia Felipe.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, 2017, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1229 N. Washington St., Kokomo.
