Allijandre "Alli"'s Story
Allijandre "Alli" Gomez Flores, 50, Dunlap, Illinois, passed away at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, in Peoria, Illinois. He was born April 28, 1967, in Manila, Phillippines, to Armando and Domingo (Gomez) Lloren. On Jan. 4, 1997, he married Sunah Lee, in Columbus, Ohio, and she survives.
Alli graduated from Port Angeles High School, Washington, in 1987, and from The Ohio State University in 1995 with a Bachelors of Science in industrial design. He had worked for the past year and a half as an expert user interface designer at EASi at Caterpillar, Inc., in Mossville, Illinois. Prior to that, he worked as a human machine interface designer and industrial designer for Delphi in Kokomo, as an IT tech for Chapel Hill Christian Church in Kokomo, as an adjunct instructor for ExecuTrain and Purdue University in Kokomo, and as a faculty member at ITT Technical Institute. He was also founder and CEO of Transparent System Technologies, LLC.
There was nothing Alli loved more than his Lord Jesus and his family. He was a member and deacon of Chapel Hill Christian Church, and loved serving the Great Banquet, The Way and Awakening while in Kokomo, and attended Richwoods Christian Church in Peoria. He enjoyed classic cars, working on his Miata and was a coach of the Kokomo Soccer Club.
In addition to his wife, Sunah Flores, he is survived by his beautiful daughter, Sunnih; talented son, Angelo; brother, AJ Flores; and several loved cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his adoptive father, Sereno Flores.
Funeral services for Alli will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday at Chapel Hill Christian Church, 2600 W. Alto Rd., with Pastors Steve Allen and Ty Rogers officiating. Friends are invited to visit from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the church. A celebration of life service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Richwoods Christian Church, 8115 N. Knoxville Ave., Peoria, Illinois.
